Emissaries HR
Gods yearn for champions. Your business needs balance.
Put your workforce at the service of their desires.
All the gods are searching for a champion to carry out their most important tasks and spread their influence across the world.
As an Human Resource expert, you are at their service. Hire candidates and turn them into your emissaries: they will complete the assignments you give them, gain experience and improve their abilities.
Goal
Your goal is: give a champion to each god.
Once an emissary reaches level 20, the god they have served the most will choose him (or her) as their champion.
If isn't observed by a god, an emissary need to take another mission with the appropriate god.
Each assignment affects 2 of the four domains of influence (Knowledge, Violence, Secrets, and Love) by either gaining or losing cultists.
If your assignments strip a god of all their cultists (reducing their power to zero), the balance will be broken.
GAME OVER!
So fire the emissaries you no longer need, hire better candidates, or recruit those best suited to your strategy.
Your ultimate goal is give a champion to every god while maintaining the balance.
Abilites
Each emissary has five abilities, rated from 1 to 5:
- Furtivity / Combat / Oratory: required to qualify for assignments. The higher the stat, the greater the chance of being selected for a task
- Intellect: increases the experience gained from every assignment
- Quickness: reduces the time required to complete assignments
Every 4 levels, a random ability from Furtivity / Combat / Oratory gains 1 increase point (the gain is marked with a star).
The Power of the Gods
Each god's influence over the world is determined by the number of cultists they have. The more cultists, the greater their power.
If a god loses all of their followers, the balance is broken.
However, if a god has a devoted champion, their power can never fall to zero: the champion will fight in their name, so there's at least 1 cultist.
